Dr. Lynn Buzhardt is a 1980 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband have lived in Zachary since 1982 and have two married sons, both human doctors. She practices small animal medicine and speaks on veterinary medical topics throughout the nation. Dr. Buzhardt also authors veterinary medical articles and has cowritten a book with Dr. Sue Steib entitled, “Can We Have One? A Parent’s Guide to Raising Kids with Cats and Dogs”. The book is available in bookstores, at our hospital, and online at Amazon.com. She is a board member of The American Heartworm Society.
