Dr. Mark Crawford attended Louisiana State University for undergraduate and obtained a bachelor degree in Animal Science. Dr. Crawford then received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following graduation he went to LSU Small Animal Teaching Hospital for a one year rotating internship in medicine and surgery. Dr. Crawford then went through a one year surgical internship at Louisiana Veterinary Referral Center. He began working for Sherwood South Animal Emergency and Critical Care in July of 2012 and joined The Animal Center as a part time Veterinarian in August of 2015. He and is wife Lindsay live in Zachary and have been married since March of 2015. They will be welcoming their first baby in October! They also share their home with their 3 dogs and 1 cat. In his spare time he likes to go to LSU football games, go hunting and play golf.
